Is rebuke from leaders validated by scripture?

The answer is YES. The problem is, a lot of leaders feel that DEMEANING, INTIMIDATING, BELITTLING AND INSULTING are forms of rebuke.

Should we be controlled by our spiritual leaders?

The answer is “NO”. It’s amazing how many leaders now are using the scriptures to justify unreasonable control of their members. Believers are being taught we have to submit to our leaders because God has given them rule over our soul.
